The best part of my job is that I get to step into peoples lives for a day, wander around and document all that I see for them. I get see how people celebrate weddings all over the world. I am an anthropologist at heart. I love studying humankind with my camera.
This wedding was back on my home turf in Perth, Western Australia. Now that I am living in New York, looking through all these photographs again and remembering what it feels to walk out into a big wide open field with menacing storm clouds and breath in all that fresh country again, makes me miss home so very much.
Amber & Corrin celebrated their wedding day surrounding themselves in all the things they love.. loved ones, animals, food, music and bright colors, along with a stormy Australian sky. They had a little baby animal petting farm for all the guests to play & hang out with and a fairy floss station & pizzas on demand throughout the evening. It was a pretty amazing day to be part of 🙂
